CAKE RECIPE
CHOCOLATE & VANILLA MARBLE CAKE
Ingredients:
225g Soft Margarine
225g Caster Sugar
4 Eggs
225g SR Flour
3tbsp. Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp. Cocoa Powder
Method:
Put all the ingredients except the cocoa powder in a food processor or mixer. Mix for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth.
Divide the mixture into 2 bowls & add the cocoa powder to 1 of the cake mixtures.
Into a 20cm greased & base lined tin, place spoonfuls alternately of the vanilla and chocolate mixtures. Tap the tin on the work surface to ensure there are no air bubbles. Take a skewer & swirl it through the mixture to create a marble effect.
Bake in a pre-heated oven 180°C/160°C Fan/Gas 4 for 45-55 minutes.
